Response actions for the containment, recovery and cleanup of pollutants that are discharged or present a threat of discharge into the sea due to ship collisions, groundings, or wrecks with necessary equipment.

Marine Incident Response System

We have signed MOUs with Pyeongtaek and Taean Coast Guards, and KOEM to conduct joint public-private drills and establish a response system to take prompt action in the event of oil spill incidents and other marine accidents.

Emergency Framework in the Event of Vessel Incidents

We have established a system to remove pollutants immediately and prevent their spread in the event of a major accident, such as ship collisions, groundings, or wrecks, where oil and harmful substances from ships can cause marine pollution.
